Job summary

Vento Group Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor in Nottingham to support the commercial management of construction projects from pre-construction through to final account.

You will assist with budgets, cost plans, and cost control, while helping with subcontractor procurement, valuations, and final accounts. The role offers exposure to full project lifecycles within a Midlands-based team.

Qualifications

• Must have budgeting experience for construction projects.
• Experience with cost reporting and cost control.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills; proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial management of construction projects from budgets to final account.
• Assist with subcontractor procurement, tender enquiries, analysis and appointments.
• Prepare interim valuations, applications for payment and subcontractor accounts.
