Job summary

Kier Group is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a role based in Mid Lothian. The successful candidate will join the commercial team, supporting project outcomes and helping with measurement, payments, and reporting.

This is a 40-hour week with some flexibility and requires a driving licence. You'll work with client representatives, sub-contractors and internal teams, applying NEC/JCT contract knowledge in a collaborative way to deliver value across projects in a challenging, fast-paced

We're looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team based in Mid Lothian.

Hours

40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

What will you be responsible for?

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the commercial team, supporting them in delivering successful project outcomes. Your day to day will include:

• Assisting in the commercial management of projects and developing your quantity surveying skills
• Undertaking site measurements and preparing information for payment applications
• Reviewing sub-contractor applications for payments
• Supporting accurate assessment and reporting of project financial positions
• Assisting in the production of commercial reports and working with internal and external stakeholders
