THE ROLE
My client, an established firm of PQS with a thriving London office, now seeks an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their City of London office.
You will have the opportunity to work on high-value projects across various sectors including residential, mixed-use, commercial offices, data centres, retail, leisure, heritage, and education.
The role involves working on new build, refurbishment, and fit-out projects.
The client is looking for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor with around 2 years of QS experience, ideally gained with another PQS.
You may be working towards the APC or eager to become chartered. The client offers good CPD support and assistance to achieve RICS qualification.
My client is a PQS firm with a diverse range of private sector clients. They are a well-sized construction consultancy offering cost management and project management services.
Ideally, you are a Graduate Quantity Surveyor currently working at a PQS firm.
You should have at least 2 years of PQS experience covering pre- and post-contract duties, either post-graduation or during your degree.
You must hold a BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying, preferably RICS accredited.
You are either working towards the APC or eager to start this process.
You should be capable of working well within a team and have a stable work record.
Excellent English skills, both written and spoken, along with good IT skills, are essential.
Salary ranges from GBP 35,000 to GBP 45,000, plus RICS fees, pension contributions, discretionary bonus, etc.
