Job summary

Ramudden Global UK is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial and senior management team in delivering contracts within budget. You will help control costs, review accounts, and maintain data in the Works Management System, ensuring timely billing and effective debt collection.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, commercial experience, and proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.

Qualifications

Excellent negotiating skills.
Experience working within a commercial setting.
Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel).
Confident to work with an IT/Digital system-led solution for commercial management.
Ability to build new and existing relationships with clients and suppliers.

Responsibilities

Helping in managing costs and suggesting journal requests if needed.
Reviewing monthly management accounts and key performance information.
Monitoring and maintaining data within the in-house Works Management System.
Ensuring the timely and accurate billing of works.
Managing the Early Warning and Compensation Event process.
Managing client disputes.
Creating in-contract pricing, estimates and quotations.
Assisting with recovering aged debt and cash collection.
Helping to prepare revenue reports and monthly management accounts.
Contributing to the overall management of commercial aspects of all contracts, including ensuring costs and revenue are in the correct periods.
