Foster & May, a close-knit construction consultancy in Birmingham, seeks an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their local office. You will join a supportive team of Quantity Surveyors on a diverse mix of commercial and residential projects, assisting the QS on pre and post contract duties.

The role offers progression to QS level, a flexible working environment, and a comprehensive training and APC support package. A driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Completed a Quantity Surveyor degree or RICS associated degree.
• PQS consultancy experience.
• Pre and post contract knowledge.
• 2+ years in a PQS experience.
• Car and driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Support QS team on pre and post-contract duties.
• Work on a wide range of commercial and residential projects.
• Assist with cost planning and post-contract cost control.

The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will join a supportive team of Quantity Surveyors on a wide range of exciting commercial and residential projects.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will help support the QS team by working with the QS on both pre and post contract duties.
