Job summary

Foster & May in Cardiff is seeking a well-spoken and energetic Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a supportive team on a diverse range of projects across listed buildings, healthcare and heritage.

The role requires a Quantity Surveying degree (or RICS Associated), basic pre- and post-contract knowledge, a drive to become MRICS, client facing experience, and a driving license with a car; APC support is provided.

Qualifications

• A Quantity Surveying degree (Or RICS Associated).
• Basic pre and post contract knowledge.
• Willingness to work towards MRICS and guidance to achieve it.
• Experience in a PQS/Consultancy environment.
• Driving license and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Join a supportive team on a diverse range of projects across listed buildings, healthcare and heritage.
• Assist on cost management, procurement, and contract administration under supervision.
• Develop client-facing skills and contribute to project success.
