ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to successful company expansion, my client is recruiting permanently for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the current Commercial Department. Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you will manage costs to maximize profit on projects, ensure payment delivery, and develop client relationships. Your responsibilities include viewing and evaluating payments, site measurements, reviewing and pricing variations, and preparing valuations with Project Managers and the Commercial Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
You must be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field, with at least 2 years of postgraduate experience gained in the UK working for a civil engineering main contractor or specialist subcontractor. A full UK driving license and living within a commutable distance from Southampton are required.
