Job Description

Fawkes & Reece South are working with a growing contractor that specializes in civil engineering and infrastructure projects on behalf of private clients throughout the Southwest of England. Their projects are valued between £5m to £15m and are based on both JCT & NEC contracts.

They are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a busy team and assist a Senior Quantity Surveyor with various commercial duties, including:

1. Accurate monthly forecasting
2. Producing bill of quantities/activity schedule for payment purposes
3. Producing and sending subcontractor enquiries
4. Producing monthly reports and cost value reconciliations
5. Managing change and producing compensation events
6. Attending weekly progress meetings

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Degree-qualified or equivalent in a civil engineering subject
• Experience working on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
• Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
