Job summary

Foster & May in Leeds is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team. You will gain exposure across retail projects for high-profile clients and assist from inception through completion, supporting cost plans, budgets, valuations and final accounts.

The role offers development toward MRICS / APC and a strong platform in an established PQS consultancy in Leeds. Flexible working and pension are included.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Close to MRICS / APC qualification.
• Experience in a PQS consultancy.
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cost plans, budgets, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Support delivery from inception to completion across pre- and post-contract stages.
• Collaborate with experienced Quantity Surveyors within a multi-disciplinary team.

A well-established and progressive Quantity Surveying Consultancy is looking to add an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to their Leeds team.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Joining a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team, the successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will have the opportunity to work across a range of retail projects for several high-profile clients.

The new Assistant Quantity Surveyor will support the delivery of projects from inception through to completion, gaining experience across both pre and post-contract stages. Your responsibilities will include assisting with cost plans, budgets, valuations, variations and final accounts, while working alongside experienced Quantity Surveyors to further develop your knowledge.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to broaden their experience and progress within an established consultancy.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Ideally working towards MRICS / APC
• Previous experience within a PQS Consultancy
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Comfortable working as part of a team
