Our regional office is accessible from anywhere in the North West of England, located just off Junction 6 of the M62.

We’re committed to creating a dynamic and inclusive environment, valuing diversity in our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Be an integral part of the commercial team supporting the Managing Quantity Surveyor
  • Build strong relationships with internal and client counterparts
  • Manage sub-contracts, including tender enquiries, awards, and assessment of monthly payment applications
  • Support the production of monthly CVRs
  • Produce internal and client forecasts
  • Manage Final Accounts from production to agreement
  • Follow all Tarmac and client processes to minimise commercial risk
  • Ensure accurate valuation of work and follow through to cash collection
  • Prepare and submit monthly payment applications to clients
  • Prepare and issue early warning notices and compensation events

Due to the nature of the work, a company vehicle may be included. Therefore, applicants must have a FULL UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points. We will consider applicants working towards a driving license if they live locally.

Ideal candidate:
  • Drive and ambition to succeed
  • Knowledge of NEC3/4 (training can be provided)
  • Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication, numeracy, and analytical abilities
  • Process-driven with commercial awareness and negotiation skills

Education-wise, a degree is preferred, but equivalent qualifications such as a minimum HND will be accepted.

Training and development will be provided to help you excel in this role. We encourage applicants in the early stages of their career to apply.
