Base pay range

Liberty has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team, based in the North West (Knowsley or Ellesmere Port). You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, working 40 hours per week, with a competitive salary of up to £36,000 per annum depending on experience, plus a Company Car/Allowance and excellent benefits!

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the financial and contractual management of construction projects
  • Manage small schemes from tender handover to final account
  • Support the Senior Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager on larger projects
  • Maximize project profitability
  • Understand tender processes and create tender documents
  • Prepare commercial agreements for approval
  • Maximize value/income and work to commercial timetables
  • Assist in cash flow management
  • Ensure tender margins are met and seek ways to increase margins
  • Provide accurate cost reports and manage contractual positions
  • Implement contract terms and manage risks
  • Process enquiries, quotations, and orders efficiently
  • Manage subcontractor applications and proposals
  • Resolve issues through reporting and CVR processes
  • Follow client reporting procedures
Candidate Requirements

Previous experience with social housing contracts and NHF Schedule of Work, IT skills, relevant qualification, flexibility in hours and travel, and a full UK Driving Licence.
