Job summary

Foster & May, a London-based quantity surveying consultancy, is seeking an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join its busy team. You will work on diverse projects across hotels, leisure, healthcare and theme parks, in a front-end capacity under the guidance of a QS Director.

The role offers APC support, MRICS progression, hybrid working (2 days WFH), 25 days leave plus bank holidays, pension and tech provided, with long-term career development.

Qualifications

• 18+ months Quantity Surveying experience.
• Worked within a PQS/Consultancy environment.
• Completed a Quantity Surveying degree.
• Pre contract experience.
• Personable, client facing nature.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-contract/front-end quantity surveying duties under the guidance of a QS Director.
• Draft prelims, prepare and review tender documents, and support project teams.

A professional Quantity Surveying consultancy with a successful track record of winning repeat work is seeking a bright Assistant Quantity Surveyor seeking a fulfilling and long term career with a London practice.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor's Role

The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be part of a Quantity Surveying team who are working across a mixture of hotel, leisure, healthcare, and theme park projects across the UK; projects valuing between £0.5m and £120m.

The new Assistant Quantity Surveyor shall be responsible for an array of pre contract / front end quantity surveying services, including drafting prelims, preparing, and reviewing tender documents etc. All done under the guidance of a QS Director.
