Job summary

Foresight Search Ltd is actively seeking Quantity Surveyors for opportunities with Bristol-area main contractors. Roles cover junior to senior levels, with salaries ranging from £40,000 to £70,000 plus car allowance and benefits.

You will manage commercial elements of projects, including procurement, valuations, and final accounts. Ideal candidates will have construction QS experience, familiarity with main contractors, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects.
• Experience with main contractors preferred.
• Ability to manage own workload and commercial responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of contracts and commercial processes.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Based within a reasonable commute of Bristol / surrounding area.

• Cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow management.

Quantity Surveyor - The Opportunities

Foresight Search is currently working with a number of established construction main contractors across Bristol and the surrounding area, with several Quantity Surveyor opportunities available at different levels.

These roles cover a range of construction projects and contractor environments, from growing regional businesses through to larger established contractors. Salaries and packages vary depending on experience, with opportunities suitable for Quantity Surveyors looking to take their next step as well as more experienced Senior QSs.

Rather than advertising each position separately, we are keen to speak with good main contracting Quantity Surveyors who would be interested in understanding what is currently available across the Bristol market.

Opportunities range from approximately £40,000 to £70,000 plus car allowance and wider benefits, depending on experience and the specific role.

Quantity Surveyor - Typical Responsibilities

• Relevant construction qualification beneficial but not essential
• Based within a reasonable commute of Bristol / the surrounding area
