Job summary

ESL UK is seeking a proactive project coordinator to support the delivery of water design projects from our Manchester office. You’ll help keep programmes on track, monitor costs and quality, and ensure client satisfaction through clear coordination across engineering disciplines.

You’ll work with engineers and cross-functional teams, communicate with clients and stakeholders, assist with tenders and technical proposals, and develop toward a Project Manager role through hands-on project exposure

Qualifications

• 2–5 years’ experience in engineering design, project engineering, or design management.
• Degree or HND in an engineering or related discipline.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Interest in developing a career in project management.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of multidisciplinary water design projects.
• Help deliver projects on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
• Coordinate design teams and supply chain partners.
• Update and maintain project programmes.
• Assist with commercial tracking, variations and change management.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Report project progress to senior team members.
• Assist with tenders and technical proposals.
• Ensure collaboration across engineering disciplines.
