Job summary

Brandon James is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support across commercial, hospitality and residential projects, providing early involvement from feasibility through procurement, construction and completion.

The role offers progression to Project Manager with mentorship from Directors and exposure to diverse schemes. A relevant degree and prior consultancy experience are required to develop towards MRICS chartership.

Qualifications

• Previous Project Management experience within a construction consultancy.
• A relevant construction/property degree, such as Project Management, Quantity Surveying or Building Surveying
• Experience or exposure to commercial, hospitality and/or residential projects
• An understanding of the construction project lifecycle
• Ambition to achieve MRICS or another relevant professional qualification
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A proactive approach to learning and career development
• Confidence working with clients and multidisciplinary project teams

Responsibilities

• Attend client and project meetings, prepare reports and programmes, coordinate consultants
• Monitor actions and project progress, support procurement and ensure projects are delivered against time, cost and quality objectives
• Take increasing responsibility for smaller projects while assisting Directors on larger and more complex commissions
