Job summary

Severn Trent is seeking an Assistant Programme Manager for the Mains Renewal Programme in the East region, covering Leicestershire and Warwickshire. You will join a team of eight, managing schemes from planning through delivery, coordinating resources, costs and documentation while liaising with construction teams and community officers.

You’ll drive programme performance, ensure compliance, and coach junior coordinators, with travel between sites on a UK-wide basis and a within-office hybrid

Qualifications

• Experience within the utility or water sector
• Experience managing relationships with multiple external organisations and government bodies
• APM qualification
• Excellent understanding of CDM regulations
• Strong communication, influencing, time management and prioritisation skills
• A full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Manage schemes from planning through to delivery in the East region (Leicestershire and Warwickshire).
• Coordinate resources, equipment, materials, costs and documentation.
• Work closely with construction teams, Project Co-ordinators and Community Liaison Officers to keep programmes on track and inform customers.
• Manage scheme costs, compliance and documentation, support delivery changes and coach Project Co-ordinators.
