Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Project Manager (Mains Renewal) to join our Yorkshire Water framework based in Yorkshire. You will oversee project teams delivering the capital mains renewal programme, ensuring safe delivery to time and budget while upholding water quality, workmanship and sustainability.

You will engage with design partners, suppliers and key stakeholders to drive the programme forward and add value to the network asset base.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience of managing a team and overseeing clean water mains renewal projects.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
• Expertise in managing health, safety, and environmental standards on site.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high‑performing project team, ensuring safe work by trained staff.
• Manage overall resource allocation, monitor productivity, performance and quality.
• Oversee on‑site health, safety and environmental standards, championing SHE basics.
• Build and maintain relationships with Yorkshire Water Delivery/Networks teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to quality and compliance.
