CP Riverside School, part of East Midlands Education Trust, is seeking an Assistant Principal (Inclusion) to lead the inclusion agenda across the school and drive outcomes for disadvantaged pupils, SEND, and EAL learners. The role sits on the Senior Leadership Team, with responsibilities for developing teaching practice, coaching staff, and shaping strategic approaches to remove barriers to learning.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading inclusion strategies within a school setting.
• Understanding of SEN, EAL, disadvantaged pupils and pupil premium.

Responsibilities

• Lead provision for disadvantaged students, including those with SEND and EAL.
• As SENCO and Designated Teacher for Looked After and Previously Looked After Children, develop a clear strategy.
• Support staff development and coaching to raise attainment.
• Collaborate with families, external agencies and governors to ensure purposeful support.
