Lift New Rickstones is seeking an exceptional Assistant Principal - Inclusion & Designated Safeguarding Lead to join our Senior Leadership Team and lead inclusion across the school. You will lead SEND and inclusive practice, ensuring high outcomes for students, and provide senior leadership for safeguarding, acting as DSL and developing partnerships with families and external agencies.

The role requires a degree, PGCE and QTS with DSL experience being desirable, and a strong commitment to CPD

Qualificações

• Lead strategic inclusion and SEND provision across the school.
• Ensure statutory responsibilities relating to SEND and inclusion are met.
• Promote safeguarding culture and lead Designated Safeguarding responsibilities.
• Collaborate with families, external agencies and staff to drive improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the school's strategic approach to inclusion and SEND provision.
• Develop and evaluate the SEND and inclusion strategy for strong outcomes.
• Ensure reasonable adjustments are implemented across the school.
• Improve inclusive classroom practice and high expectations for SEND.
• Use data to evaluate impact and set improvement priorities.
• Safeguard and promote welfare as the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
