Job summary

Little London Academy in Leeds is seeking an Assistant Principal responsible for SEND to join our strengthened Senior Leadership Team. The role requires a dynamic, inspirational leader who can drive inclusive teaching and pupil outcomes across all phases.

The successful candidate will be a qualified SENDCo or be undertaking SEND qualifications such as NPQ for SEND, with a proven track record in leading improvements and coaching staff to raise achievement for all learners.

• Be a highly effective leader who leads by example, developing excellence in others through coaching, mentoring and leadership of a key stage. Experience within EYFS would be particularly advantageous.
• Have a proven track record of leading a core subject and driving improvements in outcomes.
• Possess a clear vision, energy and commitment to all aspects of school life.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and external agencies.
• Share our commitment to ensuring every child achieves their full potential, both academically and personally.
