Norfolk County Council is recruiting for an Assistant Practitioner to join Central neighbourhood teams in Norwich, working with a Social Worker in a multi-disciplinary setting to support people in the most deprived areas.
You will provide safety, wellbeing support, advice and signposting, and build relationships with local organisations and residents to identify at-risk individuals and offer preventative help.

We are recruiting an Assistant Practitioner to join Central neighbourhood working with Caste Partnership and the St. Saviours Yard project. You will be working alongside an allocated Social Worker in a multi-disciplinary team and with community resources to support people in the most deprived areas in Norwich.
You will support in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of people at immediate risk, provide advice, guidance and signposting.
You will building relationships with organisations and residents in the area to assess the most at risk people and consider preventative support.
You will have direct contact with people and families in the community at St. Saviours Yard, GP surgeries and home visits.
We are developing this role as we learn more about the local area therefore you will need to be creative and flexible.
