An opportunity has arisen for a Assistant Practitioner based at University Hospital Ayr.
Within Station 16, we actively promote the Enhanced Recovery Programme (ERAS) to enable patients to be confidently & safely discharged home at the earliest opportunity, reducing length of stay and avoiding re-admission and complications.
As a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner, working with minimal supervision and in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, you will ensure all appropriate patients are working to achieve the measures within the ARISE (Arthroplasty Rehabilitation in Scotland Endeavor) bundle, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. This role requires motivating both patients and staff to embed the enhanced recovery ethos within Station 16.
You will support patients to achieve the earliest possible discharge and assist the clinical team with accurate data collection. You will be responsible for ensuring all relevant data is collected and submitted to the national ARISE database. A commitment to delivering high standards of patient care and sharing the organisation’s values is essential.
