Job description

The Role
  • To act as a member of the care team under the supervision of registered NMAHP Practitioner.
  • To assist patients in achieving their care and rehabilitation goals.
  • Provide support and evidence-based care by assisting in the planning, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of care.
  • Undertake baseline assessments within clearly defined parameters for the identified area of care delivery.
  • Use specialist technical and practical skills to deliver flexible, person-centred, safe, and effective care.

Duties may vary depending on the team/department or assigned area of work, as per role profile.

  • Ability to apply technical and practical skills.
  • Effective listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Time management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of basic IT.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills, maintaining a record of learning.
  • Full UK/EU/EEA driving license.

Contract type

Permanent, Full-time, 37 hours/week

Location and Working Pattern

This role is based in NMAHP Practice Development Department, Beckford Street. Applicants may be considered for similar roles in alternative locations.
