Job Opportunity: Band 4 Assistant Practitioner (Weekend Working)

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the NHS Lanarkshire Trauma and Orthopaedic team for a part-time Band 4 Assistant Practitioner, specifically for weekend working.

This role offers a chance to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team at University Hospital Wishaw.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the supervision of registered therapy staff to assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
  • Implement and adapt treatment programmes within hospital and community settings for individuals or groups.
  • Undertake baseline assessments within defined parameters for the service.
  • Use specialist skills to deliver flexible, patient-centered programmes.

Training and support will be provided to help you develop within the physiotherapy team.

Additional notes: Duties may vary depending on the care group, department, or area of work.

Contract Details

Band 4 / Permanent / Part-Time / 7.38 hours per week

Flexibility in Saturday and Sunday service shifts is negotiable, with options for one, two, or three shifts per month depending on your commitment.

Candidate Requirements
