As an Assistant Planner, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining construction programmes across a range of civil engineering projects. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will help ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and within scope.

Key responsibilities include
  • Developing, updating, and refining detailed construction programmes, including activity‑based work sequences, milestones, start / finish dates, durations, and critical paths.
  • Allocating and tracking resources such as labour, plant, and materials.
  • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to identify and resolve potential scheduling challenges.
  • Analyzing risks and implementing contingency plans to keep projects on track.
  • Supporting the estimating and commercial teams with programme input for bids and tenders.
  • Providing advice on progress, changes, and improvements throughout project lifecycles.
