Assistant Payroll Manager

The role of the Assistant Payroll Manager
  • Support the Payroll Manager in the completion of payroll, ensuring effective and accurate delivery of 2-weekly and monthly payroll, including reporting
  • Support with all payroll regulations e.g. Tax/HMRC
  • Assist in year end processes; ensure all year end processes are complete e.g. holiday, tax
  • Support in the administration of the pension scheme
  • Assist in managing payroll systems and resolving payroll discrepancies efficiently
  • Serve as the payroll team lead and ensure smooth operations during the Manager's absence
The ideal candidate for the role of Assistant Payroll Manager
  • Proven experience in a similar payroll role, preferably with multi-site experience
  • Able to work autonomously to deadlines
  • Accurate and attentive to detail
  • A good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
