Job summary

Colicci Limited in Central London is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to support frontline teams across our Royal Parks sites. You will help manage daily operations, coordinate across locations and drive guest experiences during peak seasons.

Working with the General Operations Manager, you will lead up to 50 staff, supervise scheduling, stock control, health and safety, and back-office reporting, while maintaining a flexible, customer-focused approach throughout 364 trading days a year.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' management experience in hospitality.
• 2+ years' multi-site management experience.
• Barista skills with espresso experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across multiple locations in Central London parks.
• Assist with staff scheduling, training and performance.
• Ensure food safety, health & safety compliance and stock control.
• Support management in back-office reporting and maintenance tasks.

We're looking for an Assistant Operations Manager to play a key role in daily operations, supporting management and the teams working across our stunning locations throughout the Central London Royal Parks.

Working alongside the General Operations Manager, our Assistant Operations Managers strive for success. With 30 million visitors annually to our parks, sales aren't guaranteed. Your forward-thinking approach to capturing every sale and filtering this down to your team members could be the difference between an average trading day and a record-breaking one. What You'll Be Doing:

• First stop, main storeroom. Buggies fully loaded, operations team buzzing, the morning sun glistening off the Serpentine Lake, ice cream vans chiming that sweet sound of Pop Goes the Weasel... and then you arrive at your first unit without a vital ingredient. Your whole team is looking at you for the solution. What's your next move?
• Thinking fast on your feet is essential. Our Assistant Operations Managers are the first line of defence, where being able to maintain an upbeat, productive team across all your sites is key. And don't forget, you'll need to hold the reins in the absence of the General Operations Manager.
• Managing a team of up to 50 during the height of the summer season, you'll assist with staff scheduling and training, ordering supplies and stock control, back-office financial reporting, food safety and health & safety inspections and reporting, and the maintenance of vehicles and machinery.
• Our operation runs 364 days a year, with weekends and public holidays among our busiest trading days, so a flexible approach to working patterns is essential.

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years' management experience
• 2+ years' multi-site experience
• Barista trained, ideally with experience using La Marzocco machines
• Experience with soft serve ice cream machines
• Food Safety and Health & Safety qualifications at Level 2 or above
