Job summary

Argos is seeking an Assistant Merchandiser to join our Merchandising team in Coventry (hybrid). You will support delivering customer-focused product ranges and help achieve sales, profit and stock targets.

You'll review weekly trading performance, help forecast sales at category and SKU level, and collaborate with replenishment to plan allocations and launches, while maintaining data integrity and compliance with sustainability standards.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Experience with allocation and stock management.
• Proficiency with Excel and merchandising systems.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of customer-focused product ranges to meet sales, profit, margin and stock targets.
• Review weekly trading performance and identify opportunities and issues.
• Own and manage category and SKU-level forecasts to optimise sales and availability.
• Collaborate with replenishment to plan initial allocations and launch builds.
• Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with legal and sustainability requirements.
