Job summary

SUCCESS TALENT is seeking an Assistant Merchandiser for a permanent role in Hampshire, with hybrid working arrangements. You will support the team by conducting historical analysis, forecasting trends, and building range plans to ensure stock availability.

Key duties include analysing trade performance, managing stock orders with suppliers, tracking shipments, and distributing stock across channels. You’ll mentor trainees and contribute to sustainability initiatives while developing your skills

Qualifications

• It is essential you have previous experience as an allocator, trainee merchandiser or assistant merchandiser.
• You should have strong numerical skills and excellent communications skills with the ability to negotiate.
• Ideally you will have experience within a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyse trade performance and optimise profitability.
• Manage stock orders from suppliers, track shipments and ensure on time deliveries.
• Monitor and adjust stock distribution across channels where necessary.
• Mentor trainee merchandisers and develop your own skills through ongoing learning and research.
• You will play an active role in advancing the companies sustainability goals.
