Key Accountabilities

Your key accountabilities will include

  • Support Category Marketing Manager to deliver compelling, authentic, customer relevant propositions to support category trade.
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with M&S stakeholders, acting as a key contact for the category/marketing function. Building strong relationships with the trading and product development teams and swiftly becoming the trusted gateway into marketing for the category.
  • Work collaboratively with Category Marketing Managers, Assistant Category Marketing Managers, Trading Managers, Product Developers and other stakeholders to develop the plans, ensuring they are highly commercial and mindful of operational challenges. Adhere to key Trade Planning governance process and timings.
  • Ensure the delivery of new propositions and product launches are consistent across all touch points and delivers to brief. Ensure messaging is accurate and aligned across the organisation, with a strong emphasis on briefing point of sale, as well as respective channels marketing teams including social, CRM, PR and advertising.
  • Develop plans to engage in-store colleagues, driving anticipation and excitement around key propositions and product launches.
