Job summary

BDO UK is seeking a Third Party Assurance Assistant Manager within Risk Advisory Services to lead defined engagements, oversee engagement planning, and deliver high-quality assurance projects for a diverse client base.

You will work with Managers, Directors and Partners, developing junior team members, and applying ISA standards while travelling to client sites as required. The role balances management activities with hands-on audit work, aligning with BDO’s collaborative, agile culture.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Third Party Assurance and data assurance for diverse clients.
• Experience with global assurance standards; ISAE 3000, ISAE 3402, ISRS 4400 desirable.
• Knowledge of risk management and controls testing across client environments.
• Professional qualification ACA or ACCA; strong communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Organised with ability to manage multiple assignments and develop junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead defined engagements or workstreams and assist with engagement planning and delivery.
• Balance engagement management with hands-on audits and specialist assignments.
• Collaborate with Managers, Directors and Partners to deliver high-quality engagements.
