Job summary

Prezzo Italian is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead shifts, run the floor alongside the GM, and shape guest experiences across busy, high-volume service. You’ll recruit, train and develop your team, balancing guest demand with labour costs while maintaining food safety standards.

This is a path to running your own Prezzo Italian restaurant with support from the group. You should be a proactive leader, ready to take on responsibility, bring energy and a people-first approach, and embrace

Qualifications

• Experience leading shifts in busy guest-focused hospitality.
• Understanding of what drives sales and costs in a restaurant.
• People-first approach with coaching mindset.
• Attention to food quality and hospitality details.
• Ambition to grow into your own restaurant someday.
• Working knowledge of licensing, food safety and health & safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts from the front, setting the pace and hospitality standards.
• Build a connected team and make a lasting impression on guests.
• Recruit, train, and develop staff; identify top talent.
• Support the GM with rotas balancing demand, costs and wellbeing.
• Run the restaurant in the GM's absence and own daily decisions.
• Ensure food safety, health & safety, and licensing compliance.
