Job summary

Prezzo Ltd is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead shifts, drive exceptional hospitality, and partner with the General Manager to deliver strong restaurant performance. You will recruit, train and mentor a team, ensuring every guest leaves feeling valued and well cared for.

As the accountable on-shift leader, you’ll manage rotas, monitor costs, and contribute ideas for local marketing and specials. This role is ideal for someone ready to grow into a General Manager position within Prezzo Italian.

Qualifications

• Experience leading shifts in busy, guest-focused hospitality.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of sales and costs.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts from the front, setting the pace and standard for hospitality.
• Build a team that genuinely connects with guests and staff.
• Recruit, train and develop the team; identify and nurture top talent.
• Support the GM with rotas balancing guest demand, labour cost and wellbeing.
• Run the restaurant in the GM's absence, owning daily decisions.
