This role involves applying planning and scheduling expertise to complex construction projects and fostering client relationships. Assistant Manager - P6 Planning and Scheduling at KPMG’s Major Projects Advisory (MPA) team. We work with industry-leading organisations to solve challenges in infrastructure, delivering results on high-profile projects and programmes across transport, natural resources, energy, power and utilities, corporates, oil & gas, defence, health, housing & education.
We focus on providing clarity to Boards, Executives and SROs at major public and private sector organisations, supporting delivery of their projects and programmes. Our team comprises specialists with deep construction industry experience, spanning the UK and overseas.

This role is for an innovative professional at Assistant Manager level, who can work alongside our existing team to apply planning, scheduling and project controls in construction to solve complex problems. There is no one-size-fits-all in MPA; we’re diverse and select our people because they are our most important asset.
Assistant Managers in our team are client-facing and at the forefront of delivery. Experience from infrastructure-related projects and programmes is preferred, but we will consider candidates with experience in other relevant fields. As part of a team of consultants on the ground, you’ll apply your subject matter expertise to bring to life tailored solutions for our clients while managing important relationships. The UK MPA team is based in London, Birmingham and Manchester. This role will be based in one of these locations but will require travel to client locations throughout the UK and occasionally overseas.
We are looking for candidates with post-qualification experience primarily in planning, scheduling and project controls for major projects and programmes. This could be as a contractor, consultant, or within a government role.
