Trading Post Coffee Roasters is looking for an Assistant Manager to lead a Coffee House alongside the General Manager. You will drive exceptional hospitality, coach your team, and ensure standards are consistently met across service, safety and presentation.

You’ll recruit and onboard new staff while creating an engaging workplace where guests enjoy memorable experiences. You’ll work to grow the operation, build a high‑performing team culture and help achieve sales and profitability targets.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising a team in a busy customer-facing environment.
• Strong people management and coaching skills.
• Experience delivering high standards of customer service.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of business performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts that deliver exceptional hospitality and consistently high operational standards.
• Coach, support and motivate your team to perform at their best.
• Work alongside the General Manager to achieve sales, labour and profitability targets.

• Support stock management, ordering and daily operational planning.
