Job summary

Greene King in Whitminster is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for Fromebridge Mill, a high-volume pub. You will lead the team on busy shifts, work closely with the General Manager, and ensure top standards across service, food and compliance.

You’ll coach staff, drive sales and build strong community ties while delivering a superb customer experience in a carvery and foods-led environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an assistant manager/supervisor role in hospitality.
• Experience in busy pub/restaurant/high-volume hospitality environments.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Hands-on approach with frontline teams.
• Excellent communication and customer-service focus.
• Commercial awareness and ability to grow the business.
