Job summary

Rituals Cosmetics UK and Ireland is seeking a Mobile Assistant Store Manager to cover the Glasgow area. You will work mainly on the shop floor, supporting the Store Manager with rotas, targets and strategy while coaching the team to deliver exceptional customer service in a luxury boutique environment.

You’ll act as a product expert, handle complex customer queries, manage store operations, and help grow the team through coaching.

• Similar level of experience in retail or customer service.
• Able to work opening hours including evenings and weekends.
• Product expert capable of handling complex questions and driving purchases.

We are looking for a mobile Assistant Store Manager to cover our Glasgow area! If you're looking for a job with variety, this is it. As our Assistant Store Manager, you're mainly on the shop floor, helping your team deliver great customer service, while working closely with your Store Manager on rotas, targets and strategy. Your key responsibilities

• Lead in your Store Manager's absence - take full responsibility for daily operations, team decisions, and coaching Sales Advisors.
• Partner with your Store Manager - work together on rota planning, sales strategies, and plans to make colleagues and customers even happier.
• Be the product expert - handle complex customer questions, demonstrate products like a pro, and embody our signature Feel Good Experience.
• Own the operations side - take care of rota management, inventory, cash handling, and all essential back-office work that keeps the store running smoothly.
• Develop your team and make targets fun - you're great at coaching, know exactly what to say to help people grow, and you turn sales into a game everyone wants to play.
• Be a brand ambassador - you look polished and professional, and you pay attention to every detail that matters for a luxury boutique.

Similar level of experience in retail or customer service. Can't imagine being behind a desk all day. You get a genuine kick out of retail - the rush, the variety, the puzzle-solving. Are results driven, always looking for your next win and you naturally turn conversations into purchases. Have strong people skills and easily adapt to different personalities - you know how to inspire your team, collaborate with your Store Manager, and connect with customers (whether they're chatty or more reserved). You're available to work during opening hours, which include evenings and weekends.
