St Austell Brewery seeks a proactive pub-restaurant leader at The Old Custom House in Padstow. You will motivate a team, ensure a warm welcome, and uphold high service standards while stepping in for the General Manager as needed.

You will oversee front and back of house during busy periods, coordinate with the Kitchen Team on quality food, and manage admin and cash processes with a sharp eye for safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a hospitality environment with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and cash handling.
• Proven ability to develop the team and ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and lead the team when the General Manager is away.
• Create a welcoming guest experience and maintain high service standards.
• Supervise front and back of house during peak times.
• Oversee kitchen collaboration and food quality with the Kitchen Team.
• Maintain admin and cash management processes and financial controls.
