Job summary

Old Success Inn in Sennen Cove seeks an experienced hospitality leader to helm daily operations in the General Manager's absence. You will motivate a dedicated team, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and maintain smooth service across front and back of house.

With a focus on service quality, food standards, and safety, you will monitor feedback, support staff development, and manage admin and cash handling. The role offers growth toward a General Manager position.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar hospitality/FOH+BOH leadership role.
• Ability to motivate and manage a team to deliver high service standards.
• Strong focus on guest experience and timely response to feedback.
• Experience overseeing kitchen and service to ensure quality food delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team in the GM's absence; ensure smooth operations.
• Welcome guests warmly and ensure first impressions are outstanding.
• Monitor customer feedback and drive improvements in service.
• Support Front and Back of House during peak times as needed.
• Oversee consistent quality of food offerings and coordinate with the Kitchen team.
• Apply health and safety regulations with rigor across the venue.
• Develop team members and mentor potential future General Manager.
• Maintain admin and cash handling processes and reporting.
