Job summary

Harpers Steakhouse in Southampton is looking for an Assistant Manager to lead the front-of-house team and ensure outstanding guest experiences.

You will work closely with the General Manager to drive sales, manage shifts and develop staff, with clear progression toward a General Manager position.

The role offers up to £34k base pay plus up to £5k Tronc, flexible shifts, and a range of staff benefits.

• Previous supervisory or management experience within hospitality.
• Strong leadership skills and a passion for developing people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, trustworthy and fair approach.
• The ability to stay calm, think quickly and take ownership.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and making guests feel welcome.
• The flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
