Job summary

Upham Inns is seeking an Assistant Manager for a busy pub in Milton Keynes. You will help create a welcoming atmosphere, supervise front-of-house staff and ensure exceptional guest experiences on every shift.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead food and beverage operations, support recruitment and staff development, and uphold our standards while working evenings, weekends and holidays. A clear progression path and market-competitive package await the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience within Hospitality
• The Right to Work in the UK
• Strong leadership skills with a passion for staff development and upskilling
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Innovative, trustworthy and impartial
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays is essential.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of guest experience at a high level with consistency through every shift
• Overall responsibility for the food and beverage
• Achieving the KPI's / performance metrics for the ongoing financial success of the business
• HR responsibilities including recruitment and development of staff
