Job summary

Badger, part of Mitchells & Butlers, is looking for an Assistant Manager at the Badger in Vintage Inns to bring your experience to the table, supporting the General Manager in leading your team to success and delivering an excellent guest experience.

You'll mentor each team member, train staff to uphold high standards in food, drink and service, and act as Duty Manager when needed. Join us and help create a welcoming pub environment where guests return time and again.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality management or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations and lead the team on shift.
• Train and inspire staff to deliver high standards of food, drink and service.
• Act as Duty Manager when the General Manager is unavailable.
• Lead by example to create a welcoming guest experience and drive guest satisfaction.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING? AS ASSISTANT MANAGER YOU’LL…

• Use your management experience to support the General Manager in the day to day running of the business, being the Duty Manager when they are not around.
• Use your communication skills to train and inspire your team to deliver food, drink, and service to be proud of.
• Be the role model and guide development within your team.
• Lead the team to deliver moments that WOW our guest, keeping them coming back.
