Job summary

Welcome Break is hiring an Assistant Manager for its KFC brand at one of our UK sites. You will help run day‑to‑day operations, coach the team on shift, manage stock and routines, and ensure a clean, well‑organised unit ready for rush periods. You’ll be supported with training and a clear path to store management.

This hands‑on role includes leading by example, delivering great customer service, and driving standards, compliance, and sales performance across the shift.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader, or Assistant Manager in busy retail, hospitality, or customer service environments.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to create a welcoming experience.
• Ability to lead from the front, coach others, and develop the team on shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team on shift to deliver great customer service.
• Coach and support team members on service, safety, and standards.
• Help manage stock, routines, and the cleanliness/organisation of the unit.

Ready to take the next step in your leadership career in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment? As an Assistant Manager in KFC at Welcome Break, you’ll help lead the team day to day, keep standards high, and make sure every customer gets a warm welcome and a great experience.

You’ll support the Store Manager in KFC across service, safety, people, and commercial performance, coaching the team on shift, helping to manage stock and routines, and making sure the unit is clean, well‑organised, and ready for every rush. It’s a hands‑on role with real responsibility, and we’ll give you the training and support to grow into a Store Manager role.
