Job summary

Welcome Break is seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead the team at one of its sites, supported by the Store Manager, across service, safety, people and commercial performance. The role offers a rewarding salary package and a structured career path in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

You will lead from the front, coach others on shift, and ensure standards, compliance and excellent sales performance while delivering great customer experiences. Eligibility starts at age 18.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader, or Assistant Manager in busy retail, hospitality, or customer service.
• Delivery of outstanding customer service and welcoming experience.
• Ability to lead from the front, coaching and developing others on shift.
• Strong organisational skills to manage priorities in a busy environment.
• Understanding of standards, compliance, and sales performance.
• Ambitious to develop management career with a clear progression path.

Ready to take the next step in your leadership career in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment? As an Assistant Manager in [brand] at Welcome Break, you’ll help lead the team day to day, keep standards high, and make sure every customer gets a warm welcome and a great experience.

You’ll support the Store Manager in Starbucks across service, safety, people, and commercial performance, coaching the team on shift, helping to manage stock and routines, and making sure the unit is clean, well‑organised, and ready for every rush. It’s a hands‑on role with real responsibility, and we’ll give you the training and support to grow into a Store Manager role.
