Job summary

Marston’s PLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our pub team in Hull. You will lead from the front to create memorable guest experiences and support the General Manager in achieving financial and business KPIs.

This role involves stepping up when the GM isn’t around and driving a positive, guest-focused culture across shifts. With a passion for leadership and a like-for-like management background in a branded environment, you will motivate your team, uphold brand standards, and contribute

Qualifications

• Experience leading a pub team or similar branded environment.
• Proven ability to motivate staff and deliver customer-focused service.
• Track record of supporting or achieving business KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in achieving financial and business KPIs.
• Inspire and motivate the pub team on every shift.
• Be accountable for the pub's operation when deputising for the GM.

As an Assistant Manager you’ll:

Be part of the pub management team, stepping up when the General Manager isn’t around. With a passion for leading and motivating others, you’ll lead from the front to create memorable experiences that gets our guests coming back for more.

• Support the GM in achieving financial and business KPI’s

• Be accountable for the successful operation of the pub when deputising for the GM
• Bring previous experience in a like-for-like Assistant/ Deputy Manager role in a similar/ branded environment
