Job Title - Assistant Manager

Location - Harley Street, London

Hours of work - 40 hrs per week (Tuesday to Saturday)

Salary - Competitive plus commission

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join our team in our flagship Harley Street clinic, where you will have the opportunity to grow and develop within a professional working environment.

In this role, working alongside the Clinic Manager, you will provide inspirational leadership to a team of practitioners, and lead the clinic team to provide the best quality aesthetic treatments, exceed targets and ensure that excellent customer service is delivered every day.

Candidates are required to be a qualified Practitioner, as you will be providing hands-on treatments, as well as fulfilling management responsibilities that will include overseeing clinic recruitment and training, rostering, target setting and day-to-day clinic management.

Job Role:

  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer care within the clinic.
  • Strive to meet and exceed the expectations of our patients.
  • Ensure that the patient’s journey is smooth and efficient and that all patients receive a high level of customer service.
  • Providing support and direction to the team to enhance performance, skills and treatment/product knowledge.
  • Minimise the occurrence of customer complaints, resolving any complaints quickly, efficiently, and professionally to retain customer loyalty.
  • Be aware of and responsible for compliance with the CQC regulations and update procedures as necessary.
  • Take responsibility for staff mentoring and development, to ensure all staff are fully trained and motivated.
  • Responsible for maintaining morale and leading by example in accordance with good management practice.
  • Effective team rostering, ensuring we have the right people in the right place at the right time.
  • P&L management, taking every opportunity to minimize costs and maximise revenue.
  • Ensuring audit, policies, procedures and medical governance standards are always met.

Skills Required:

  • Qualified to Level 3 in Beauty Therapy (or equivalent), Level 4 is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience within either an Aesthetics clinic, Day Spa or Beauty Salon. Previous experience within a senior position, highly desirable.
  • Experience of working within a target driven and fast paced environment.
  • People management skills, capable of building and leading high performing teams, highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Drive, determination and ability to overcome ambiguity and the daily challenges of ‘management’.
  • A good understanding of statutory policies such as HR and Health and Safety. Experience of CQC policies and procedures is a distinct advantage.
  • Genuine desire to work in the Aesthetic and Optical Industries.
  • Experience of working to sales targets and be happy to get involved with promotional activity.
  • You should be willing and able to work evenings and weekends.
