Hours: Full Time or Part-Time (37.5 hours or 16–20 hours per week, including every second weekend)

Salary: Competitive – dependent on experience

Holiday: 20 days per year (pro rata)

About Us:

Love It! Boutique is an independent fashion and lifestyle store that champions style, community, and service. Known for our curated collections and welcoming atmosphere, we’re passionate about creating a memorable shopping experience. We’re now looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team and support both the Store Manager and Owner in running the boutique day-to-day.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with retail experience who’s ready to step up, take more responsibility, and be part of a close-knit, growing business.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Working alongside the Store Manager and Owner, you'll be helping to lead the team and keep the store running smoothly, creatively, and commercially. Your responsibilities will include:

Store Operations & Leadership

• Supporting the Store Manager in all aspects of daily operations
• Opening and closing the store independently
• Leading by example on the shop floor and coaching junior team members
• Ensuring exceptional customer service at all times
• Supporting with recruitment, training and rota planning where needed
• Creating and maintaining inspiring product displays in line with seasonal themes
• Managing stock levels, replenishment, and backroom organisation
• Supporting stock takes and deliveries
• Driving sales through product knowledge, service and in-store initiatives
• Confidently using the Shopify POS and inventory system for transactions, stock control and reporting
• Analysing sales trends and supporting data-driven decisions

Marketing & Content

• Helping plan and create engaging content for social media and email newsletters
• Assisting with events, promotions, and new product launches

General Store Duties

• Processing and packing online orders
• Handling customer enquiries both in store and online
• Overseeing the ordering of store supplies and ensuring the shop remains clean and well-presented

Working Hours:

• Weekday shifts to be agreed upon
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Sunday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks while staying calm and focused
• Strong communication and people skills
• Experience with Shopify or similar systems a big plus
• A creative eye for visual merchandising and social media content
• Flexibility to adapt and pitch in where needed
• Enthusiastic, reliable, and aligned with the values of an independent brand
