Job summary

Marston's PLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team in a branded pub environment. You will lead from the front, motivate staff, and ensure memorable guest experiences while supporting the GM in achieving financial and KPI targets.

You will play a key role in developing the team, driving operational excellence, and maintaining high standards of guest service. Flexible and part-time hours are available to suit personal commitments and education plans.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant/Deputy Manager in a like-for-like/branded pub environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead pub team and manage shifts to deliver memorable guest experiences.
• Support the General Manager in achieving financial and KPI targets.
• Inspire and develop the team, ensuring high standards of guest service and safety.
• Be accountable for the smooth operation of the pub when deputising for the GM.

As an Assistant Manager you’ll:

Be part of the pub management team, stepping up when the General Manager isn’t around. With a passion for leading and motivating others, you’ll lead from the front to create memorable experiences that gets our guests coming back for more.

• Support the GM in achieving financial and business KPI’s
• Inspire and motivateyour pub team on every shift
• Be passionateabout doing the right thing for your team and guests
• Be accountable for the successful operation of the pub when deputising for the GM
• Bring previous experience in a like-for-like Assistant/ Deputy Manager role in a similar/ branded environment
