Job summary

Marston’s PLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to join a busy pub team. You will lead from the front, drive guest experiences, and support the General Manager to deliver financial and KPI targets.

With Aspire progression to General Manager and a portfolio of rewards and career development, you’ll work in a people-first environment offering flexible hours and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a hospitality/pub environment.
• Customer-focused with a passion for guest experiences.
• Willingness to step up and support the General Manager when needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the GM in achieving financial and business KPIs.
• Inspire and motivate the pub team on every shift.
• Lead by example to deliver memorable guest experiences.
• Be accountable for pub operations when deputising for the GM.
• Build on previous Assistant/ Deputy Manager experience in a branded pub.

As an Assistant Manager you’ll:

Be part of the pub management team, stepping up when the General Manager isn’t around. With a passion for leading and motivating others, you’ll lead from the front to create memorable experiences that gets our guests coming back for more.

• Support the GM in achieving financial and business KPI’s
• Inspire and motivateyour pub team on every shift
• Be passionateabout doing the right thing for your team and guests
• Be accountable for the successful operation of the pub when deputising for the GM
• Bring previous experience in a like-for-like Assistant/ Deputy Manager role in a similar/ branded environment
