Job summary

Marston's Grandstand pubs are looking for an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager, lead a vibrant team and ensure memorable guest experiences. You will deputise for the GM during their absence and drive KPI attainment in a branded environment.

We offer development through the Aspire programme toward a General Manager role, plus progression, bonuses, and staff discounts across Marston's venues.

• Leadership and people management experience in a branded environment.
• Ability to support GM and deputise as needed.
• Motivation and ability to lead a team across shifts.

• Inspire and motivate the pub team on every shift.
• Be accountable for the pub when deputising for the GM.

Job description

As an Assistant Manager you\'ll: Be part of the pub management team, stepping up when the General Manager isn\'t around. With a passion for leading and motivating others, you\'ll lead from the front to create memorable experiences that gets our guests coming back for more.

• Support the GM in achieving financial and business KPI\'s

• Be passionate about doing the right thing for your team and guests
• Be accountable for the successful operation of the pub when deputising for the GM
• Bring previous experience in a like-for-like Assistant/ Deputy Manager role in a similar/ branded environment
